Sottomarina di Chioggia is one of the most important towns in the province of Venice, Italy, both for its tourism and for its history that for centuries intertwined with that of Venice itself.
Renowned for its port, the salt pits, its crops, its cuisine and for its narrow streets (the 'calli'), small squares (the 'campielli'), palaces and canals that are very similar to those of Venice, it can be easily reached from the world's most romantic city by private boat or by ACTV public transport service. A must see is of course also its fine sand beach.
